Welcome to the Venice Area Quilters Guild website

Our November meeting takes place on Tuesday the 17th at the Venice Community Center. Doors open at 5:30 with guest lecture at 6:00.
This month Kristin Echols of Kristin Laura Designs will join us via Zoom to share the history of the Seminole Indians and their vibrant patchwork technique. Explore their method for using strips of fabric to create intricate designs and see quilts made in this style. If you want more Seminole Patchwork ideas, sign up for the January class that she is teaching. Seminole Patchwork Techniques It's a two "half day" Zoom class, great for beginners.
Guests are welcome, $5 guest fee.

We have informal drop-ins -- Stitch Connections -- on the 2nd Wednesdays all year with additional days in the summer months.

Check our Event Calendar on the website for details and locations and other special events like the All Star Teacher Samplers.
