rd.
Winner does not need to be present to claim their prize -- we will contact you.

Blocks in a Bag

For this fund-raiser, coordinating quilt blocks are created by our quilting Circles or groups of friends, packaged together and offered to the highest bidder.

Quilt Show attendees can look at the blocks in person and place bids over both days via silent auction. Winner does not need to be present at the time when bids are closed.

Whoever wins each set of blocks can assemble them into a quilt, either by using the suggestion included, or by adding more fabric as sashing and borders, and using their own creativity.

Most packaged blocks will include:
1) the name of the individual or group that made the blocks
2) the number of blocks included
3) the size of the blocks
4) a picture of how the finished quilt will look, or suggested layouts
5) Optional: extra material used in the making of the blocks.

Quilting Books, Magazines & Patterns - Table

Our members have donated gently-used quilting & sewing magazines, books and patterns for sale at the Quilt Show.

These items will be very reasonably priced, so that you can get a whole book or several magazines for the cost of a single new pattern.

Find some favorites, take them home, and get your creative juices flowing.

Mini Quilts

Stop by the Mini-Quilts display to see what our members have created and donated for this year's auction! All new, fun mini-quilts will auctioned at the Quilt Show.

Proceeds from this silent auction will be donated to the South County Food Pantry.

Mini-quilts will measure no larger than 80” around the perimeter.

MEET OUR SHOW JUDGE

BEVERLY FINE

Beverly Fine became a National Quilting Association Certified Judge in 2003 and served as the NQA Judges Certification Program Coordinator from 2008-2012 and again from 2015-2016. She co-authored the book Guide to Judged Quilt Shows, available through Amazon, and served as the Masterpiece Quilt Coordinator for the National Association of Certified Quilt Judges (www.NACQJ.com) from 2015-2017 with the mandate to recognize the very highest quality of work being done among today's quiltmakers. Upon learning that the NQA planned to dissolve as of December 31, 2015, she became a member of the four-person transition team to set-up and organize the new National Association of Certified Quilt Judges. Beverly’s judging philosophy is to recognize creativity and the appropriate skills to bring it to life. She hopes to encourage all quiltmakers and guide them toward the best possible choices to develop their ideas.
