It's been a VAQG tradition for members to bring their judged quilts and judging comment sheets to review and interpret them with others at the Stitch Connection following a show.  It's a good way to learn from judging and understand what judges look for.  It's fun and informative. 

Stitch Connection is an informal meeting place for members to sew and develop friendships. You can bring your own project or make a Guild project such as Community Service quilts or Quilt Show Boutique items (kits for both will be available). If you are struggling in any area of quilting, there is sure to be someone to share their knowledge and experience with you.  It’s a place to unwind and have fun while working together.
Stitch Connection takes place at the Venice Community Center on Nokomis Ave, on the 2nd Wednesday of the month plus 4th Wednesday in summer months

Hours: 10:00am to 2:00pm:

Enter the Venice Community Center from the Turin Street side for Room E or F and Milan Avenue for Room G. 

Come join in the camaraderie: wear your name tag, bring your lunch if you plan on staying all day, along with your sewing machine and supplies. No need for your iron, iron pad, or extension cords, as iron/cutting stations and extension cords are provided. Face masks are optional and appreciated even for those who have been vaccinated.
